The Wander Wonder Trail begins from the beginning of December and we are hosting the shepherds.
Help is required to decorate the church and churchyard on December 12th as the shepherds get 'settled in' and it 'begins to look a lot like Christmas'.

13th Dec at 3pm : Informal Service (hopefully) in St George's church - an opportunity to make Christmas music altogether, without singing, using musical instruments, but not woodwind or brass instruments and worship with flags. Percussion instruments will be on offer or bring your own. Let's worship Him together.

The shoe box appeal Collection of shoe boxes for Samaritans Purse has been delayed due to covid restrictions. Collections will take place the beginning of December, arrangements for collections in Dursley/Cam have yet to be confirmed. If you have a box to donate please contact Judith nearer the time for information. (Tel: 890661 or Alternatively you can donate or fill a shoebox online.

Friends at Christmas Churches Together, GL11 Community Hub and Seven Vale Community kitchen are working together to bring a Christmas dinner out to the vulnerable and lonely this Christmas. If you are on your own and in need this Christmas, or you know someone who is, please contact Martin Gregg on 07788421059 or Cathy Iddles on 01453 548530. If you would like to volunteer to deliver for Friends at Christmas please contact Fiona on 07817021196.
St George and St Cyr are open from 10-4 for individual private prayer. Please follow the guidelines when you enter church using the hand sanitiser and keeping 2m from others.

Foodbank will be delivering Christmas Hampers to households in the Stroud District:  Sweets, Chocolates, Mince Pies, Tinned Ham, Hot chocolate, Savoury crackers, Gravy granules, Dried stuffing, Christmas preserves, Luxury Crisps, Christmas cake, Christmas Pudding. They will be collecting Seasonal Food for our Hampers during November or you can go to the foodbank website to donate.

Since the Lockdown in March, the funds coming in have understandably reduced, and we are not currently allowed to pass around the collection plate. As funds are running low in both churches, please do consider giving. Speak to Fiona or Ian/Michael or you can use our online giving pages.
