Worship style
We use modern language Common Worship services Morning Prayer on weekdays and Holy Communion on Sundays. A nave altar is used for most of our Sunday worship except on fourth Sundays when we receive communion at the high altar.
An organist and robed choir lead the music at our 9.30 Parish Eucharist, while members of our congregation read the Bible readings and lead the prayers.
Family Celebration
A music group plays (when available!) for our 9.30am All Age Service on the Second Sunday of the month, which is a more informal all-age service of the word style mix of worship songs and hymns, and an interactive talk or drama. Children sometimes help was well.
Coffee and other refreshments are served after all our 9.30 services and we are known for our cakes!
Other services
Morning Prayer is said Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 9.00am on Facebook Live and on Tuesday's in church.
Evening Prayer is said on Tuesday evening in church at 7pm or in the winter month on Zoom.
Sacred Space takes - this is a more reflective, quieter, service on a Sunday evening mostly on the Second sunday of each month.
In addition there are a number of special and seasonal services - please see the calendar for details.
Prayer Team
The Prayer team encourages and promotes prayer within the life of the church.
Team members offer prayer on a rota basis to individuals who would like someone to pray for them or with them following the Sunday service once a month.
We also try to encourage prayer by members of the church for special purposes.
If you have any prayer requests, please do get in touch.
