Safeguarding is very important to us all in the benefice and the safety and well being of everyone is essential.
The parish of Cam: St George and the parish of Stinchcombe: St Cyr are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.
We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO), Mrs Sara Smout.

The Diocese of Gloucester’s Safeguarding Team pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA.

If a child or adult is in immediate danger of significant or serious harm

Call 999 and contact the police if a child or adult is in immediate danger of significant or serious harm.
If you suspect someone is breaking the law: Call 999 or phone the police on 101

If you are concerned about the welfare of any person, please seek help.
