I heard this hymn a few Sundays ago and thought, yes, this is a wonderful praise hymn, and although the tune is familiar to me it it's the words that really touch me. I've often found that in my own words of praise I can never quite truly express what I mean, and this hymn fulfils that for me.

To God Be The Glory is one of my favourites and I am not sure where I first heard it. I love the tune and the lyrics, and I have always thought the words especially “The Vilest Offender Who Truly Believes, That Moment From Jesus A Pardon Receives” are very reassuring to all who hear it, regardless of their past lives.
